This is quite a new stage in my teaching practice as I am here to introduce blogger.com to my students for practicing their journalism skills. This is a huge step forward for them, and I am very excited about their progress with English.
Now, the question might be... why do we choose blogger.com instead of, for example, social networking platforms?
1) Students of one group can create their own blogs and follow each other's blogs which allows a more in-depth practice in journalism skills.
2) Students can comment on the content of any blog and suggest further improvements if needed.
3) Students can turn their blogs into a journal and share their own personal views on any worldwide news.
4) Students finally get to feel what it's like to be a journalist as they have their own blogs which would be constantly viewed by their peers.
